• 1986 Absolutorium – Technical University for Economics in Prague, qualification in industry.
• Until 1990 - practice in foreign trade enterprises Ferromet and Czechoslovakian ceramics in Prague.
• After 1990 practice in the private sector.
• Head of imports purchase - food, beverages, fruit and vegetables from Germany, Holland, France and Spain.
• Complete processing of the import – locating the partners, calculation, certifications (now not required any more), customs examination, sales.
• Later on commercial director - retail trade and wholesale – foodstuffs sector.
• In the years 1996 - 1997 lecture activity at the Adult college in Hof on Czech economy and foreign trade.
• Experiences with projects of cross border effect for non-profit sector, financed from the program Phare of the European Union and from the German–Czech Future Fund.
